Sustainability Studies

Our state-of-art entrance solutions can reduce the amount of energy needed to heat or cool a building, resulting in lower costs and a smaller carbon footprint for customers.

For external entrances to climate-controlled buildings, an automatic door is often a “greener” option than a manual door by virtue of the fact that it is only open when it is actually in use.

Revolving doors, which offer complete separation of the indoor and outdoor environments and limited air-exchange during passage, can produce additional energy savings of 20% compared to other types of automatic entrances.

The following independent studies demonstrate some of the sustainable benefits of different types of doors.
