The Assignment

Provide a high-capacity automated entrance for COOP Hypermarket, a large supermarket in Kungsbacka, Sweden

 The Challenge

• Create a large, welcoming automatic entrance with plenty of capacity for shoppers with trolleys


• Ensure a comfortable indoor climate for both shoppers and store staff


• Reduce heating and cooling costs

The Solution

COOP Hypermarket chose a Besam RD3L revolving door for its spacious, high-capacity compartments and state-of-the-art safety features. 

The client was also pleased with RD3L's ability improve the separation between the indoor and outdoor climates. This was especially important for the COOP store in Kunsgbacka, Sweden, where the building’s location and orientation exposes its entrance to high winds.

Besam Sweden is also providing service and maintenance for the installation.
